Restoration & Rebinding

We have many years of experience restoring books of all kinds, from Medieval manuscripts to 20th C first editions for libraries and serious private collectors to favourite childhood storybooks. Our work is done using archival materials and practices with an awareness of the book´s value - market or sentimental - to its owner. Bindings can usually be saved and when not we can rebind in period style.
We are frequently called upon to produce high quality copies of a family history, a book of sketches or a hand-written memoir that comes to light after spending years in an attic chest. If you have plans for such a treasure we should talk.
